The Maya headband is made with a 1” headband foundation covered with vintage hand block Indian prints. These are purchased fabric scraps to reduce waste and cherish authentic hand made materials.
Several patterns available but only a few per pattern will be available due to the nature of cutting down scraps.
This Knot Headband is handcrafted in Cincinnati, Ohio.
These are made to order.
Measures approximately 5.5” x 6.5”.
Styling Recommendation / Expected Fit:
Adults can expect that this headband sits a little higher on the head vs flush against the head due to the fabric.
Simply place the tips (ends) of the headband behind the ears. The tips should fall to the top of the ear or slightly below.
On children, you can expect these tips to fall below the top of ear more.
While these headbands are all one length (measured tip to tip), we have some that are stretched wider vs more narrow. Please specify in the notes if you prefer one tighter or more stretched. Tighter will accommodate a child’s head better. Try carefully stretching the headband to loosen the grip if it’s snug.
While we aim for complete fit satisfaction, we I can not guarantee it, as the underneath hard headband only comes in one universal size.
